In April, C3 joined the battle against Sudden Infant Death Syndrome ("SIDS") by participating in the American SIDS Institute's "Spring for SIDS" campaign. Even with recent medical advances, SIDS remains the number one cause of death for infants aged 1 to 12 months. With the help of our clients, prospects, employees, family and friends, we were able to raise a total of $1650. When combined with the C3 Corporate Match, a total of $3300 was contributed on April 29, 2011. Raising funds, however, was not the only goal of this campaign....
We also worked hard to raise awareness. We ran email campaigns, highlighted our efforts on our web site, participated in various social networking events, and even ran some advertisements on Facebook. In fact, the Facebook ads were viewed by more than 1.2 MILLION people. It is our sincere hope that through awareness, education, and medical research, the battle against SIDS can soon be won.
